Pat Bernard Ezzell, Corporate Historian
Tennessee Valley Authority


Pat Ezzell, historian for the Tennessee Valley Authority, will give an interesting, engaging presentation that highlights TVA’s historical photo collection. TVA was established by Congress in 1933 to  address a wide range of environmental, economic and technological issues in the Tennessee Valley of the United States, including the delivery of low-cost electricity and the management of natural resources. Her presentation will provide a historical perspective on TVA, focusing on environment, economic development and energy.

Unveiling the 2014 Inductees into the Hydro Hall of Fame

To date, 36 plants located throughout the U.S. and Canada have been inducted into Hydro Review
magazine’s Hydro Hall of Fame. Together, this prestigious group demonstrates the long-lasting and
significant contributions of hydroelectric plants.

Awards will be given to presenters in five categories.


Attendees' Choice Award for Best Panel Discussion Session

Each day, conference attendees will vote for the best panel discussion session of the day, and the winners will be announced during this awards program.


Women with Hydro Vision

New this year, HydroVision International presents its Women with Hydro Vision awards. These awards recognize women who have made significant contributions to the hydroelectric power industry in their respective areas of expertise. A special luncheon is being held on Tuesday, and the women will be recognized again during the Awards and Closing Luncheon Finale.
