This panel addresses the external challenges, solutions and opportunities to hydropower in its role as a part of a sustainable energy future and enabler of low carbon transition in light of climate change. Topics include a) hydro and net zero goals, b)  hydro as a pathway to reduce greenhouse gasses, c) climate action goals, d) hydro’s contribution to flexibility and e)  hydro's role in the energy transition.
