This session discusses the modeling assessment and repair of spillways. From revisiting previous laboratory hydraulic modeling data and using modern computational fluid dynamic methods to a case study in identifying potential cavitation damage and providing mitigation, these presentations will review dam safety issues and solutions affecting spillways.
