Pre-registration for this event is required. This event includes an additional fee unless you have an All Access pass. Visit your registration resource center or reach out to info@hydroevent.com to reserve your seat.
This workshop will take place at Denver Water’s 2 MW Hillcrest Hydro station, which began operating in 1993 and is part of a water supply system built in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The instructor will provide a short tour of the plant and then present hands-on training on lockout/tagout procedures in an operating hydropower plant, as well as a troubleshooting exercise on the generator, associated equipment and controls. Attendees of this small group workshop will have the opportunity to ask questions and get practical answers, learning through a hands-on approach.
Instructor: Karl Allred, Senior Electrician, Denver Water
