This presentation discusses new technologies and approaches for inspection monitoring and modeling and reviews how they have been incorporated into dam safety, including: a methodology to assess spillway gate functionality to identify and locate the source of problems, condition assessments using robotics at reduced time and increased safety and dynamic testing of submerged concrete intake towers and development of corresponding analysis models.
