The construction of mega hydroelectric projects hits the news cycle when projects struggle to meet schedule and/or budget targets. However, this is not the only path for mega projects. This session features a discussion of the construction of the Mangdechhu Hydroelectric Project in Bhutan, completed in 2019. The presentation will be followed by a roundtable discussion involving owners and contractors.
