HydroVision on the road!

We're so excited to be in Portland, OR, this year we took a roadtrip to show you places to go while you're in town for HydroVision.

Knowledge Hubs

For the first time in 2019, we’ve developed educational sessions that will take place in the exhibit hall. These micro-sessions are open to all HydroVision International attendees. Visit the three Knowledge Hubs located throughout the exhibit hall, with sessions taking place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The Knowledge Hubs are organized into the following categories: Energy Storage and Grid Issues, Learning from Case Studies and Technical Horizons.

Summit (aka conference)

The nine track summit brings industry thought-leaders from all over the world opportunities to network, share knowledge and problem solve with worldwide utilities and product and service providers. The topics covered are relevant and timely, answering the current call of the hydropower industry each year. Content is presented in panel discussions, technical papers and poster presentations.

320 companies fill the exhibit hall with information, products and services related to operations and maintenance, energy efficiency, water management, renewable energy integration, marine energy, communications technologies, cyber security, turbines, new technology and more.

Plenary session

Power Producer Executive Roundtable

During this roundtable discussion – open to all attendees – C-level executives from a variety of power-producing companies will discuss the challenges they face and the opportunities they see in hydropower generation and markets. They will address the changes they are making to help lead the industry through ongoing transitions in markets, policies, and more.

In-the-Field Technical Tours

At HydroVision International 2019, you have opportunity to get exclusive In-the-Field access to two hydroelectric facilities in the Pacific Northwest.
