Allison Johnson is the Engagement and Outreach Lead for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Water Power Technologies Office—or WPTO. In this role, she leads a talented team of communicators to amplify the office’s hydropower and marine energy funding opportunities, highlight partners’ achievements, and support the office’s stakeholder engagement. Allison also oversees WPTO’s programs to support workforce development and student outreach. Allison has lived in five countries and seven U.S. cities but now feels rooted in the nation's capital.
