Dr. Boualem Hadjerioua has over 35 years of experience in hydraulics, hydropower, pumped storage hydro (PSH), and integrated river system operations. He is a visionary for river system modeling, analyses, and optimization that integrate the environmental, social and economic pillars of sustainable development. Currently, he is the director of the Integrated Water Resource Management, at Mesa Associates, Inc. He holds a PhD from the University of Arizona and has authored more than 180 technical publications.
