Brian has been with the Corps for over 13 years as a mechanical engineer. He has served at New Orleans District (where he was born and raised), the Hydroelectric Design Center (Mechanical Systems Design), Engineering and Construction as the Chief of the Mechanical Engineering Section, and now as the Chief of Operations and Maintenance Technical Support Section. His section is comprised of experts in various programs areas including Asset Management, Load Handling Equipment, Cybersecurity, Reliability Compliance, Access Control Systems, Hydropower Testing and Evaluation, ArcFlash, and Hazardous Energy Control (lock out tag out). He functions as the District link (customer service) for Chief Engineers and Maintenance supervisors at our Operating Sites, and sits on multiple District and Regional teams such as the FCRPS Capital Work Group, the Northwest Hydro Operators Forum Steering Committee, the District’s Supervisor University, and helps lead the District’s Top Talent initiative.
