Brian is a geotechnical engineer with 44 years of experience in civil and mining engineering, construction, and project management. He has a B.ASc degree in civil engineering from the University of British Columbia and an MSc./DIC degree in Soil Mechanics and Engineering Seismology from Imperial College in London, England. He has worked for consulting engineers and geotechnical instrumentation manufacturers and has been involved with geotechnical instrumentation for almost 35 years. He has experience in the installation and implementation of geotechnical and structural monitoring systems for dams, mines, tunnels, excavations, structures, and groundwater supply.
