Brian presently leads Mott MacDonald’s Hydro / pumped storage global team and is based in Melbourne, Australia. He is a Chartered Engineer with almost 30 years of experience in the delivery of hydropower and pump storage projects, across the globe. He has specific skills in the study; tender design; detailed design and construction management of hydroelectric projects ranging in capacity from 1MW to 8,000MW. As well as leading the development of the hydro team of Mott MacDonald he is presently acting as the Project Director for the 1 GW of pumped storage projects being delivered in Australia; is a Steerco member for the 5GW Pioneer-Burdekin Project being delivered by the Water2Wire JV and is the Project Manager for the Owner’s Engineer on the 884MW Suki Kinari Project (Pakistan).
