Chuck Kahler is the US East Sector Leader for the Waterpower & Dams business line at Stantec. He is a civil engineer with 24 years of professional experience in the design and management of hydropower and dam projects. He has managed and coordinated engineering designs for hydropower rehabilitation projects involving civil, structural, hydromechanical, and electrical controls. He has also managed and coordinated new dam engineering and dam rehabilitation design projects and carried out numerous studies on dam type alternatives and removal of dams.
