Mr. Patla is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 19 years of experience in hydropower engineering, with expertise in hydraulic turbines; he serves as a National and International Subject Matter Expert (SME) for USACE. Prior to this role, Dan served as the chief of the Turbomachinery Section where Mr. Patla managed 15 hydro turbine engineers and over 90 jobs with contracts totaling over $1B in active contracts. Dan graduated from the University of Portland and has his PE in the state of Oregon.
