Day Griffin grew up in Charlotte, NC, received his BSME from Clemson University in 2010, and his MSME from the University of Virginia's Rotating Machinery and Controls Lab (ROMAC) in 2016. Day has been with Pioneer Motor Bearing since his co-op position through Clemson Page 6 of 10 University in 2010 and continues to enjoy designing custom bearings for the hydro industry. In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing and exploring the tailwaters of the very dams he visits and services.
