Dennis has extensive experience in the operation, design, safety management, construction and capital rehabilitation of dams and hydropower projects, in the Northwest US.  His roles have included Large Hydropower/Dam Team Leadership, Civil Works Project Operations & Management, Construction and Rehabilitation Project Management, technical roles and site-based construction support for projects ranging in construction value up to $180 million USD.  Dennis also possesses skills as a Senior Fisheries Biologist specializing in anadromous fish passage design at large and small hydropower projects.  Dennis possesses skills that give clients confidence that their health and safety risks are carefully managed and that complex hydropower operational scenarios can be understood at the plant operations level.   His work history spans 30 years in large hydropower related environments and experience spans areas to include the refurbishment of hydro facilities including valves, turbines, generators, and large electrical components.  Dennis also was Co-chair of the USACE Portland District Large Capital Program and was one of the Corps voting members on the Federal Columbia River Power Team comprised of the US Army Corps, US Bureau of Reclamation, and the Bonneville Power Administration.  Dennis served as a proud member of the USACE Portland District for 23 years.  He resides in Vancouver, WA and has a lovely wife and 5 children and 2 grandchildren.  Hobbies.  Only one.  Fishing and a lot of it as much as he can.
