Hemant Jain is an experienced visionary energy leader. He is the founder of an energy technology company focused on the data management of assets in the organized wholesale energy markets, and he has been managing it since 2015. He was a Vice President of commercial Electricity Supply for the New York Power Authority (NYPA), the largest state public power organization in the nation. He drove commercial management of NYPA's hydropower and fossil fuel portfolio, from daily market bidding and hedging strategy evolution to stronger commercial management of the existing long-term supply contracts and contractual assets.  Hemant has more than 30 years of energy industry experience at an investor-owned utilities energy supply company, generation company. In previous roles, he led day-to-day commercial operations, and managed retail electricity pricing, hedging, and demand response products for a 10,000 MW of asset portfolio across PJM Interconnection, the New York Independent System Operator, and ISO New England. Hemant is a registered professional engineer in the state of West Virginia and holds an MBA degree from Marshall University, WV, and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Bombay, India.
