Howard’s career has progressed through a number of different companies and positions over the past 43 years, primarily focusing on large high-voltage rotating electric machines with an emphasis on coil manufacturing. Howard has been with NEC for the past 22 years.  As director of operations, he has oversight for NEC’s high-voltage stator coil manufacturing, generator field service operations, and Columbus Service Center, which primarily focuses on the repair, rewind and high-speed balance of rotors and exciters.
