Nate Myers is an Electrical Engineer and Manager of the Hydropower Diagnostics and SCADA Group out of the Technical Service Center (TSC) for the Bureau of Reclamation in Denver, Colorado.  Nate also leads the TSC safety training program and recruiting efforts to find qualified candidates for the organization.  Nate received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.  Before joining Reclamation in 2002, Nate worked in the telecommunication and battery backup industry, as well as a residential electrician.  The Hydropower Diagnostics and SCADA Group provides field services on electrical apparatus to all of Reclamation’s regions and other government organizations.  The group works on everything from electrical circuit board design to 500,000-volt testing.  Additionally, the group works closely with the Science & Technology and Power Resources Offices to increase their breadth of knowledge and share results with the hydropower industry.
