Nick Rong is a Project Scientist in the water resources group at Knight Piésold’s Vancouver office. Nick is a registered Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) and Articling Agrologist (A.Ag.) in BC with consulting experience in BC, Yukon, Ontario, California, and South America. Prior to joining KP, through graduate studies and teaching opportunities Nick has acquired knowledge from a broad range of scientific disciplines with emphasis on topics related to advanced statistical methods in hydrology, climate modelling, and soil ecology. His research expertise is in the investigation of environmental controls on flood regimes in the Pacific Northwest. Nick is also uniquely skilled in programing languages for complex data management and statistical analyses; and has written web applications to aid the advancement of geoscience practices.
