Have been closely associated with tariff fixation of all NHPC Power Stations from the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission for more than 15 years since the onset of the regulatory Regime in India. My expertise lies in Commercial matters, especially fixation of tariffs for Hydro projects & PPAs. Was instrumental in the commissioning of the 231MW Chamera-III underground Hydroelectric power Project of NHPC in the state of Himachal Pradesh and was Head of this Project for more than 4 years. The efficient operation of this power station was recognized in the International forum. Also, has expertise in all legal matters pertaining to the execution and operation of Hydro projects in India. Regular speaker at International Conferences on Hydropower such as HYDROVISION International organized across the USA by erstwhile PennWell, USA, and now by Clarion Events.
