Randall Stearnes is a former Community Relations Officer with Tacoma Public Utilities and is now retired in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Stearnes works part-time at Desert Shadows Middle School in Scottsdale and does special projects for the Foundation for Water and Energy Education. He received a $10,000 2023 Hydro Industry Grant to develop a pumped storage hydro curriculum for middle school students in Arizona, Oregon and Scotland to collaboratively learn about pumped storage hydro projects.
